Stacy and Joyce are both natives of Philadelphia and longtime friends. When Stacy purchased a painting from Joyce, they discussed how the variety of images and graphic nature of Joyce’s artwork would translate nicely to rugs. Recently, they collaborated to create rug designs using Joyce’s art as a foundation. The application of Joyce’s artwork - simple images and rich color - to textile design is a natural fit. Joyce now applies the collaborative concept to custom textiles.
